This section brings together a series of smaller projects that explore social inequality, urban space, and everyday geographies through data visualisation and cartographic analysis. Using a mix of GIS, statistical analysis, and digital storytelling, these projects examine how social and spatial patterns emerge in contexts such as second-hand economies, urban crime, and mobility-related risk. While varied in topic and scale, they share a focus on translating complex urban data (from London and Barcelona) into accessible, place-based narratives. Together, they demonstrate an interdisciplinary approach to mapping cities as lived, unequal, and dynamic environments. The data visualisation and mapping related to the project is available in PDF format in this post.
